Almost Famous is dishing out free burgers this week in Manchester
Yep, you heard that right…
To celebrate National Burger Day this week, the legends over at Almost Famous will be giving out their famously dirty burgers for free.
Now, the Manchester-born brand has long been a firm favourite for our much-needed burger fixes – having two venues here in Manchester, one in Liverpool and one in Leeds, Almost Famous is well ahead of the game with its unique take on the humble burger.
Almost Famous burgers boast a whole array of unusual yet delicious toppings and ingredients – we’re talking packets of Frazzles and Cheetos kind of unusual.

And now, just to further add to their already sterling reputation, Almost Famous has announced that the people of Manchester will be able to get their hands on a free burger this Thursday, which just so happens to be National Burger Day.
A spokesperson for the brand said: “We love burgers – like literally obsessed – it’s what we do. We are burgers – juicy, delicious, dripping with goodness burgers – so on National Burger Day, Thursday 26th August, we want to share our passionate love.
“Eat burgers, be awesome – and because we really want to share the love, we’re giving away twenty burgers at every restaurant for the first twenty people to show up and a ton of giveaways on social and in the restaurants. It’s true love, baby.”
The spokesperson also added that, for those who miss out on the free burgers (there are only twenty from each branch, after all), all Almost Famous burgers will be half price all day long.

To get your hands on a freebie you’ll need to head down early – from 12pm, to be precise, and the free burgers are going to be given out on a strictly first-come-first-served basis.
