A local sandwich delivery concept in Prestwich will now be offering a vegan Chippy T.
It’s great news for vegans who might often find themselves missing out on a delicious chippy tea.
The plant-based fish and chip butty will launch on November 20th – this Friday, the perfect day for chippy tea! – and will be the first of its kind in North Manchester.
Sansan is a sandwich delivery service operating in Prestwich offering all your favourite type of butties, from chicken fried steak to vegan VLT (pictured below).
Around half of the menu currently caters to vegans but the new Chippy T will be a welcomed and delicious addition.
The Vegan Chippy T is made with beer-battered banana blossom, mushy peas, homemade tartare sauce and a handful of salt and vinegar chips, served on a buttered English muffin.
Sam, chef and co-founder said: “We want to create vegan sandwiches that shouldn’t have to be compared to their meat alternatives, these are great stand-alone flavours in their own right.”
Sansan delivers Tuesday through to Friday in Prestwich and Whitefield. They’ve also got a weekend pop-up open for takeaway on Saturdays 12-5pm.
