A new delivery app for Manchester’s independent businesses has launched

Shocal is a new Manchester-based app that has all your favourite local and independent shops at your fingertips.

And in even better news, we’ve got a 30% off discount code for you to use on the service.

It’s the only app in the country that allows you to get multiple deliveries from several independents and have them all arrive at your door at the very same time.

They employ local drivers to deliver a range of groceries, food, flowers, sweet treats and even balloons, paying them all a fair wage.

Shocal even gives back 10% of its profits to the local community and app users have a say in what areas that money will be spent.

There’s loads of places to choose from on Shocal, including Stretford’s BAKEHOUSE32, which is serving up pizza, bagels and booze, and Teo’s, an authentic Italian spot operating out of a dark kitchen in Ancoats.

There’s also Urmston based fishmongers What’s the Catch, who normally deliver fish throughout South Manchester, but you can get it even further via Shocal.
