Sheffield now has its very own Harry Potter-themed tea room, gaining 3,000 reservations in its first month of opening, and it’s only an hour from Manchester.

The Steel Cauldron is a magical mystery adventure into the wizarding world, made from a love of both Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings from owners, Nikki and Rob.

Aptly located on Broomhill high street, the fascinating tea room is packed full of twinkly lights, leather wingback chairs, piles of battered suitcases and definitely a few wands – and it’s proving very popular with Potterheads already.

The pair explained their journey to a fully booked first month in an interview with The Star, where they explain they signed the lease for the venue just two weeks before ‘the world stopped’.

Formerly a music venue, the site needed a lot of refurbishment and with little access to tradespeople or materials, co-owner Rob had to get creative.

With a little help from volunteers and a lot of work from themselves, the cafe is now open serving up magical delights, including afternoon tea.

Fans of the tearoom can expect big things too. They’re providing the best experience they can now that people can ‘buy anything they want online’.

This means VR, Legozone and plenty of interactive workshops like wand-making and potion-brewing are on the horizon.

They’ve also got a fully licensed bar and are hoping to introduce live music as soon as events are allowed.

And if all that wasn’t enough magic for you – there’s a full-on Harry Potter-themed apartment upstairs that you can hire out for a seriously wand-erful time.

‘The Steel Wizards Rest’ apartment isn’t quite finished, but The Star reports that guests will find themselves in Diagon Alley, a three-bedroom, eight-bed space complete with living, dining and kitchen areas.

From August 15th the bar is set to open too! Keep an eye on their Facebook here.

BRB getting on the Hogwarts Express straight to The Steel Cauldron!!!
